Angela R. Bethea-Walsh, Ph.D.

Angela Bethea-Walsh, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist located in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University after completing her internship at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System. Dr. Bethea-Walsh also completed a 3-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health and Addictions Psychology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Department of Psychiatry, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She practices at the intersection of clinical health and addictions psychology. She provides evidence-based clinical intervention for individuals with depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. She works with prenatal and perinatal mothers as well as women in perimenopause/menopause on effective coping and symptom management. Dr. Bethea-Walsh conducts psychological screening and consultation for individuals and couples seeking third-party reproduction. She also conducts substance use evaluations with professional athletes. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, American Psychological Association (APA), the APA Minority Fellowship Program, the Georgia Psychological Association (Fellow), and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is a former Co-Chair for the American Society of Reproductive Medicine/Mental Health Professional Group Task Force on Inclusion and Anti-Racism (2020-2022) and served as an advisory Board Member for the 2023 Jones Foundation Infertility Counseling Conference
Hillary Logan, LCSW, LCAS

Hillary Logan is a MINT Certified Trainer, and has been a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) since 2011. Hillary graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work, and is dually licensed by the NC Social Work Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and the NC Substance Abuse Professional Standards Board as Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAS). Hillary absolutely delights in helping individuals, groups, and organizations learn the essential skills of Motivational Interviewing. Hillary has worked as a helping professional for 25 years, ranging from working in wilderness therapy to community mental health, providing in-home & school-based services, and as a therapist with specialties including working with anxiety, trauma, addiction, and veterans. Hillary runs MI Center for Change, which provides engaging, high quality training in Motivational Interviewing for the beginner through advanced learner. MI Center for Change hosts an online MI Academy & MI Certificate of Advanced Practice, and provides customized organizational training & implementation with her MINT-member training team. She has provided engaging trainings to various health care providers in basic, intermediate and advanced MI skills. In addition to MI trainings for health care workers, Hillary has trained for community organizations, faith based organizations, Child Protective Services, and those involved in Criminal Justice. She has been trained in the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity (MITI) and MISC coding systems. Hillary has been a national consultant for MI and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), working with individuals in consultation to reach MI competency through ongoing coaching feedback and MITI coding of client sessions.
