Miranda Grattan MSW, RSW, SEP™

Member of MINT

Miranda Grattan has been a Member of MINT since 2013. Both her graduate and undergraduate studies in social work were completed with an emphasis on child welfare, anti-oppressive, and decolonizing approaches. She works in the public education system as an addictions clinician and owns a trauma therapy practice as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP™). After completing a 3-year Somatic Experiencing® program with Somatic Experiencing® International (SEI™), Miranda has gone on to be approved as an Intermediate Assistant in the program, and a Beginner level Personal Education Session Provider for SE™ students. As a practitioner of both MI and SE™, Miranda recognizes, and remains curious about, opportunities to integrate body-oriented methods with MI in order to draw upon the embodied (subconscious) wisdom and the cognitive expertise that are both inherent in all human experiences.
